Obituary for Anna Marie Oddo (Kloberdanz)

Anna Oddo, age 100, formerly of Omro, Wisconsin, passed away on December 29, 2018. She was born Anna Kloberdanz in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, to the late Alexander and Margaret Kloberdanz.
During her life she was a remarkable mother, skilled beautician, and during WW2 she did her part for the war effort assembling the C-54 airplane built by Douglas Aircraft. She truly was “Rosie the Riveter.”
Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Oddo, her sisters, Leona Froening, Frances Flathau, Margaret Pizzi, and Kay Williams; her brothers, Pete, Al, and John Kloberdanz. She is survived by her sister, Rose Jorgensen; her three children, Christine, Thomas (Lucia), and Michelle (Bill); and her two grandchildren, Joseph and Arley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, 730 Madison Ave., Omro, Wisconsin. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
