Bernice A. Vonderloh, age 88, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was born in Oshkosh on September 30, 1932 the daughter of the late Herbert and Sedelia (Diedrich) Schultz. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1950 and went on to Constance Beauty School in Oshkosh to be a beautician. Bernice was a beautician in the Oshkosh area for over 55 years, working for many salons and owning Bernice’s Beauty Boutique. She loved cows and said she was a “country girl at heart.” Bernice was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Redgranite. She will be remembered for placing others before herself.
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Jerry) Shead; grandsons: Joseph Shead, James (Kirsten) Shead and Jack Shead; siblings: Elaine Achterberg and Herbert (Diane) Schultz; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; former spouse, Gerald Vonderloh; and significant other, Robert Rilling.
A public visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Kwiatkowski Funeral Home. CDC guidelines will be observed. Burial will be in Waukau Cemetery, Waukau.
