Obituary for Jodi A. Reany

Jodi Ann Reany 56, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away on November 24, 2020 in Woodstock, Georgia after a long battle with Familial Alzheimer’s.

Born April 6, 1964 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late William “Bud” and Dorothy Reany.
She was a beloved and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Survived by her sisters Vicky Paulson (Randy), Patti Deemer (David), nephews Steve Hobbs (Becky), Andy Hobbs and Mike Hobbs (Kim), devoted cousin Lori Fulmer (Bob), Aunt Florence Dickey, many cousins and countless friends.

Jo loved the family farm that she ran until her illness disrupted her life. She was also a professional horse trainer and spent decades working as a private practice criminal defense paralegal at The Rudolph Law Office. Jodi was a graduate of Omro, Wisconsin High School. She served honorably in the United States Army, Bravo Company 3rd Battalion, stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

Jodi is a devout Lutheran and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Deeply committed to her faith and her compassion for anyone or any creature in need.

Jo’s creativity and talents will live on in the beautiful artwork and crafts she took great joy in creating and giving to her friends and family. Music was always a big part in Jodi’s life whether she was playing her grand piano, flute or playing in the church hand bell choir.

Her first love was her pets. She dearly loved her animals, her dog Isabel was her best friend, her cats Fritz and LB, and every horse she had, rode and trained.

Always a quick wit, she had a devilish smile and mischievous attitude. So many gifts lost too soon, Jodi will always be in our hearts and will now be in God’s care.

Jodi will lay to rest beside her parents at Minckler Cemetery, Knott Road, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Service to be held at a later date, arrangements by Kwiatkowski Omro Funeral Home. A special thanks to the loving and devoted care of the Oaks and the Agape Hospice staff in Woodstock, Georgia.

Love you kid!
