Lexi Jane Briskie, age 21, of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. She was born in Berlin, Wisconsin on September 11, 1996, the daughter of Jeff and Michele (Dutcher) Briskie. Lexi graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 2015 and was currently attending Edgewood College in Madison as an honors student in their nursing program. As a former high school state cross country runner and collegiate runner, Lexi enjoyed running as it was something she did well. She thrived on helping people, particularly in her work at Evergreen Retirement Community, and was a true animal lover with a special place in her heart for her dogs, Jordan and Jax. Lexi loved spending time with both her grandmothers baking, organizing and shopping. Maybe most memorable, she enjoyed late night conversations with mom at home.

Lexi is survived by her parents, Jeff and Michele, her brother, Eric, grandparents Sally Corrao, Betty Briskie, James (Jean) Briskie, Donald Dutcher, aunts and uncles Melinda (Bob) Kinser, Jim (Amy) Briskie, Rebecca Briskie, Amy (Ben) Wegner, Amanda (Clint) Napierala, and Anna (Scott) Schuster, and many cousins, extended family and beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Corrao.

A celebration of Lexi’s life will be held at Seefeld Funeral Home in Oshkosh on January 27, 2018. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until the start of service at 12:00pm. All friends, family and co-workers of Lexi are welcome to attend and help us celebrate the beauty of Lexi Jane. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
